Hi, I’m Jackie!
CTC, CPDT-KA, CSAT
I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed, Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer, and a Fear Free Certified Professional. I’ve earned my Certificate in Training and Counseling from the esteemed Academy for Dog Trainers, where I dedicated two years of rigorous study to dog behavior. My focus is on fear and separation anxiety, but I am fluent in all aspects of behavior.
Over the years, I’ve gained experience as a dog walker, pet sitter, adoption counselor, and dog daycare attendant. My fascination for behavior and learning theory was ignited when I began volunteering with The Humane Society of Boulder Valley’s Training Center, where I eventually started working as a Training & Behavior Consultant.
My education has provided me with the most up-to-date, safe, and effective reward-based training methods. I adhere to a code of conduct that insists on transparency. Anyone can call themselves a dog trainer, and there are no standards of care or education requirements. When we work together, you can rest assured that you and your dog are in good hands.
Service areas: Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Lyons, Longmont.

Private consultations are ideal for a variety of issues, including recall, resource guarding, reactivity, fear, aggression, basic manners, and more. These can be held in your home, or virtually! We will discuss your dog’s history and the challenges you are facing. I will help you understand your dog’s behavior and lay out the beginning steps of a plan to modify the behavior, if needed.
Separation Anxiety Training
Are you struggling with leaving your dog home alone? Separation anxiety is a panic disorder that can manifest as barking, panting, pacing, urinating, defecating, drooling, and destruction when left alone. This can wreak havoc on the dog and human alike. I can help you determine if separation anxiety training is right for your dog and implement a plan to treat this challenging behavior disorder.
